Halloween


Once again! Halloween is here again! Think this is the first time LOM 6F really put in a bit of effort in celebrating it. Haha.. Cuz last year, during our first year, we saw lots of students (think they're design students) drawing themselves and walking ard showing their halloween art pieces (which is themselves)..!

Actually, We didnt do much also la. Afraid that we'll scare other people. Haha. 4 of them wear black top while Liyan and Me wear white top. But my nails are black and white. Heex..

More of blog


In today's DCM lesson, we got a group assignment tat requires us to create a blog. Argh.. blog again.. Actually blog is quite user friendly except for the HTML with im still blur.. Hmmm.. Who can teach me HTML?? Or muz i really go library to find 'HTML for Dummies'??

We four meet Sun Mei for lunch.. Her timttable also quite slack de.. Good good.. Nex time fri can always meet for lunch together. And slack timetable means we can make good use of sch's sports facilities. SInce we already paid for the facilities.. =)

In MAF, the teacher ask us to buy the textbook which cost $32.70 cuz all tutorial qns can be found in the textbk. We went to red spot and found the book and we juz photo copy the qns. Each copy of the qns onli 50c. Its such a great difference between the 2 prices.. Actually ceyi wanted to buy the book le. Lucky nv rush into buying. Cuz red spot got quite alot of the books!! =)

After lesson, ceyi and I went tamp to walk walk. Look out for our co & co equipment. Co & co is an expensive subj. Cuz need to buy lots of things. And art tools can b quite ex de.. After tat went pass a newspaper booth and saw 'Teenage' mag got free Maybelline unstoppable smudge-proof mascara. So we go buy lo.. Ceyi say we so 'auntie', cuz of the mascara go buy the mag.. Haha.. So I say the mag can be use for Co & co reference. Heex.. And now my house like got alot of mascara le.. Since my lashes so short, I can always put mascara to sch everyday, if not the mascara expire.. Haha.. oops..

Online lec now.. And later need to do comm skills.. Sian.. I dun like PBL. Pls dun giv me anymore of that le.. =

Over the days


On 18th oct,
There's a LOM seminar held in school Audi 2 and im one of the event helpers. Its quite fun actually to listen to their talk especially the one on the vegetable story by NTUC Fairprice. They say their vegetable reach supermarkets around Singapore in juz 8 days. Its very fresh!!
And another one is the Singpost de.. Ever think of the stamps we paid for the postage and in between the journey who collects the money? hmmm...some of the things to ponder.

20th Oct,
Love bring me to this jap restaurant named Honjin in Tiong Bahru, CBD area. We eat buffet and we tot its one for one $52 but in the end if no DBS credit card, its $34 per person some more without the one for one.. Sigh.. And also Love say mayb its time for him a apply a credit card.. I think i also wan to apply for one. Heex.. After tat juz take lots of photos along the way and then, head for home.. =)

And tadah!! Today is the second day of sch.. 2 days of comm skills was so sian.. Dun really noe what she teaching and mostly PBL(Problem based learning) which most of us dun quite like la..
Sigh.. But juz now after sch went to sing karaoke @ Kampong Chai Chee CC.. $8 onli.. for student 2-7pm de.. =) wow!!
Meeting for comm skills tmr at 1 pm.. And they rushing me for photos!

Hey!! Some of my pics from curise..! Had alot of fun. And here r juz some of the photos I've promised earlier to upload!! But cuz the space is limited, the bathroom in the cabin was very small.. The toilet outside cabin was also very small.. But luckily it was very clean and comfortable for use.. =)

Haha.. N now, my complain corner.. Im working on a sunday, which is the 7th Oct.. Around evening time ba.. There this Indian lady who brought her two daughters to our shop to shop. Den the husband is waiting outside for them. The elder daughter is dressed nicely with a matching hair band and the younger daughter hav very curly short hair and wearing t-shirt and denim skirt. If I didnt see the skirt, I would tot tat she was a boy. And so after picking up their shopping, the mother went to the counter to pay up. At this time, the elder daughter saw some nice hair clips and keep pestering the mother to buy but she refused. And so the daughter keep on crying and went outside to her father and start complaining about her mother very loudly.When the mother went out of the shop, she shouted 'stupid mother' and pushed her at the back and this make her move forward by 2 steps(This shows how great the force was to be able to make her move.) Even this, her mum ad dad never scold her or say anything tat cannot do this and that. When the sis say something to her, she can shout back 'shut up'. Such ill bred.
Is it because of the kids are bought up with such bad upbringing, or nowadays kids are difficult to control? Who are at fault? Parents or the children?? This is a question to ponder....
And I remembered once when Im eating and beside was this mother(chinese family) bring her kids out. The kids were playing on their own and their mother was talking to another friend. And here comes a topic of her dressing up her daughter and she finds it funny and share with her friend.(Im not eavesdropping.Its just that they talk too loud) And suddenly the daughter tell the mother not to say but the mother just ignore her. Then, the daughter just shout at her mum not to say. The mother got up and start to beat her and scold this "Im your mother! Show some respect. Im not for you to scold!' This are powerful words and I think the mother was right. Next, the daughter just sit there and cry. But I think this is the correct way to teach a child.
They have to be beaten and scold to learn their mistake. But this dosent mean tat parents can abuse their child. Continuously beating is not the way. Scold and hit them abit is alright. If the incident was to be taught until they reach home, I dont think the parents will remember, even if they remember, the kids may not and they may not learn their lesson. So, its better to teach on the spot. (Im not racist. Im just stating wat I saw and feel!)
Thats why nowadays there are many ill bred child and parents. Due to bad upbringing? Or they are simply just spoilt?

Juz came back from cruise ytd.. Super star virgo! Super fun! Haha.. Will upload photos soon.. =)

Nowadays I juz dunno y? Im working whole day long and couples tat i saw is either the girl and the guy r equally tall or about the same height. Some even the girl r taller than the guy. Personally, I juz think it looks like the girl is bring the little brother out. I feel tat guys nowadays are getting shorter. Or is it tat guys that i saw r short?? I dunno.

But there are some reasons I think its possible(im not pin pointing at anyone but its juz wat i think)
Mayb cuz the uprising of fast food centres and those make them grow horizontally instead of vertically. (and cuz singapore is a food paradise)
And next is mayb cuz of busy schedules, they found no time to exercise. hmmm.. (not too good of a reason. =))
And mayb, guys wan muscles so they visit gym more often to carry weights. And due to the great gravity, heavy weights pull them down and make them grow shorter. (I dunno if its really true..)

This is juz one of the thing that went thru my mind while working when no customers are around.. Hee Hee! Please, no offence to anyone!! =)
